  2. Edward Okori says:

    Dear Dr. Köhler,
It is my pleasure to realise this communication and indeed specifically to register my application for attendance of this captioned conference, which is very pertinent to my work situation in the Pastoralists region of Karamoja, Uganda and the related pastoralists’ ecosystems of the HoA, where I have been implementing pastoralists’ development interventions during the past 17 years.

I will be very grateful to be granted an opportunity of registration and participation,
    Sincerely,
    Edward Okori.

  3. Edward Okori says:

Pastoralists based livelihoods are at the edge, especially in the East and Greater Horn of African ecosystem.
There is a dire need, more than ever, for a rethinking and concerted policy advocacy towards authentic and proactive support to pastoralists who rationally manage the fragile environment which is by nature only sustainable under calculated mobility to tactically and strategically exploit the available range.
The idea of value pastoralists’ value chain integration and development, as an element of ascertaining resilience should be a point of interest for discussion and implementing.
